Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A recent gathering in Madrid welcomed community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
